Welcome to Calvary Schools of Holland International Student Exchange program. We are located in Holland, Michigan, which is known for its natural beauty, award-winning downtown, white sandy beaches, and small-town charm and big-city amenities.
Study at a school that prepares students with a college preparatory curriculum to pursue their vocational calling and get into the college or university of their choice.
Participate in an award-winning fine arts program with opportunities in orchestra, band, choir, drama, and visual arts. Be involved with athletics, student clubs, and gain leadership experience with National Honor Society and Student Executive Board.
Real World Experience
Take part in internship opportunities with American companies to gain invaluable work experience. Students are encouraged to serve in the community and are challenged to find innovative solutions to real world issues.
International students are provided with an individually customized program that includes ESL support, tutoring, college preparation, and an academic/international student advisor.
Home Stay Program
Experience full cultural integration by staying with an American host family. Host families provide room and board and provide transportation to school and events. Students attend church with their host family.
Visit and enjoy the many attractions of Holland and Grand Rapids, Michigan. Take advantage of these city’s wealth of arts and culture, as well the beautiful beaches of Lake Michigan.
Our International program is designed for foreign students, in grades 8-12, to be able to experience American student life in an English-speaking, Christian school environment. All international students are matriculated immediately and enroll in regular school courses. The program utilizes S.E.V.I.S. (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System) to maintain and manage data about foreign students during their stay in the United States. International Admissions Process
Once a host family is identified:
Step #1 – Student must obtain F-1 Student Visa from US Embassy in their country.
-Once Student Visa is obtained, student can begin application process.
-Submit the admissions application
Step #2 – While completing the online application, please send the following to email@example.com to be considered for admission:
-Official copy of student’s grades/ transcripts from past two years of academics, including English translation and school seal
-Scanned copy of student’s passport (and visa or green card, if applicable)
-Documentation of IELTS exam. Prospective students need to have a 5.5 or above to be admitted to the school.
-Scan of a recent photo of applicant, please include passport as well
-A thorough personal summary of applicant. Please include references of at least three people and any pictures that support the application.
-Completed Immunization/Medical Record Form
Step #3 – Once we receive the completed online application, and all documents listed in Step #2, we will schedule a 20-30 minute Skype video interview with the student.
Step #4 – Following the interview, a decision will be made regarding admission to Calvary Schools of Holland. The decision is made based on the student application and Skype interview. The acceptance decision will be emailed to the student and parents.
Step #5 – If the student is accepted, and after the full tuition and fees are paid, and the enrollment contract is submitted, the I-20 will be sent to the family.
All new international students are required to attend an Orientation prior to the start of school. Orientation will be one week prior to the first week of school.

Tuition costs for 2018/2019 $12,000.00

Housing (annual) $ 4,000.00
Total Cost (annual) $ 17,000.00
Program fee does not include the cost of health insurance (or incurred medical fees) which is required for all students coming to the United States. The student is responsible for obtaining and supplying their own insurance throughout their exchange program.

• The above Housing fee is $2,000 per semester.
• The above Program fee includes hot lunch for the school year, text books, transportation to and from school, Winterim, and day field trips and athletic fees (as necessary), and a sports pass for athletic events for the student and the host family.
• The above Program fee does not include fees incurred in language testing or visa documentation, airfare or ground transportation costs incurred in student travel, student activity fees, class trip, graduation, SAT/ACT tests, collegiate class fees or books, host family or non-school travel fees, athletic equipment and/or clothing not provided by the school, senior pictures, mission or school trips, meals and food costs incurred outside of the hot lunch program, hotel or lodging, technology, and any other miscellaneous fees.
