HOLLAND, MI – Calvary Schools of Holland is proud to announce the launch of a refreshed brand identity, marking a significant milestone in our school’s journey. This exciting transformation includes a new logo, updated colors, a redesigned website, and a forthcoming new mascot, all of which align with our growth and progress as a school.
For the last decade, Calvary Schools has been evolving and expanding in significant ways, embracing a model of education based upon Charlotte Mason’s philosophy through our partnership with the Ambleside Schools International network. As we continue to grow, we recognize the importance of a cohesive and updated visual identity that reflects not only our past but also our present and where we are headed.
Our new logo features a compass, a symbol of guidance, direction, and exploration—values that resonate deeply with our commitment to cultivating lifelong learners who seek God in all facets of life. The chosen color palette of dark blue, light blue, and gold represents the natural beauty of our region: water, sky, and dune—a reflection of God’s creation and our place within it. The Calvary compass is pictured inside the letter “C” which is representative both of our school name and of Christ.
Throughout our history, Calvary Schools has been represented by symbols of roots, a tree, and a shield, each signifying important aspects of our faith and educational philosophy. We remain deeply rooted in our community and our Christian faith, growing and flourishing as we follow the path that God has laid before us. This new brand identity honors our legacy while embracing the future with clarity and purpose.
This rebranding initiative has been years in the making, as we sought to develop a look that embodies our school’s heart and mission. We began an internal launch of our new brand last fall with a logo reveal, school apparel, and winter sports uniforms. In February, we rolled out a new website located at calvaryschoolsholland.org to give the community a more comprehensive and enhanced view of our school. We will continue the brand rollout over the next 12 months, with a new mascot, spring and fall athletic uniforms, and print and digital collateral.
